Overdraft Protection is a service available for checking account members to borrow from a line of credit (not to exceed $500) to repay a draft that did not have sufficient funds.* The balance can then be repaid in full or made in monthly payments drafted from your checking account. For your added convenience, you may authorize automatic payments from your checking account for the payment of the insurance premiums or mortgage or loan payments with the credit union.

Courtesy Pay is added level of security for our share draft members to protect them from the embarrassment of having checks returned for insufficient funds. Unlike overdraft protection, returned items will be paid (up to $500 limit) without the added merchant fees and embarrassment of returned items. (An insufficient funds fee will be assessed your account for each item returned).
